Dental Public Health student volunteers of the UB School of Dentistry organized a poster competition among Junior High School Students of Quezon Hill National High School on February 22, 2024. The activity aimed to promote oral health as part of the projects/activities of SD in celebration of the National Oral Health Month. The poster competition specifically aimed to raise awareness on the importance of good oral health practices among adolescents.
The contestants showcased their creativity through their posters depicting this year’s National Oral Health Month theme of the Baguio Dental Chapter: “NGIPIN MO AY ALAGAAN TULAD NG INANG KALIKASAN”. There were sixteen entries representing Grades 7 to 10. Congratulations to the participants for coming up with interesting, creative, and meaningful poster designs that promote awareness of the need to practice good oral health habits!
